To-Do List
Priorities, due dates with overdue alerts, auto-sorting, filters, progress bar & double-click editing โ private, in your browser.
๐ก Sorted by priority, then due date โ completed tasks sink to the bottom. Double-click any task to edit it. Everything lives in your browser only.
โ A to-do list that thinks in priorities
No sign-up, no app install, no syncing your tasks to someone's server โ a fast task list that lives in your browser. Every task takes a priority (high/medium/low) and an optional due date; the list sorts itself with urgent-and-soon at the top, flags anything overdue, and fills a progress bar as you check things off. Double-click to edit, filter by active or done, clear the finished pile in one tap.
๐Everything you'd want to know
- Priorities with colour dots โ the list auto-sorts high โ low, then by due date.
- Due-date chips that turn amber on the day and red when overdue.
- A progress bar with an honest percentage (and a small celebration at 100%).
- Filters (all / active / done), double-click editing, and one-tap clear-completed.
- Private by design: tasks persist in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
๐กUsing it well
- Three high-priority tasks per day is a plan; ten is a wish list โ mark honestly.
- Write tasks as actions ('solve 10 integration problems'), not topics ('maths').
- The overdue counter is a signal to reschedule, not to feel bad โ move the date and keep going.
- Pair with the Pomodoro Timer: pick the top task, run a tomato on it, check it off.
๐ก Frequently Asked Questions
Is this to-do list free and private?+
Completely โ no account, no upload. Tasks are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device, and they persist between visits until you delete them or clear site data.
How does the sorting work?+
Unfinished tasks sort by priority (high, then medium, then low), then by due date with dated tasks first. Completed tasks sink to the bottom. This keeps 'urgent and soon' at the top without any manual dragging.
Can I edit a task after adding it?+
Yes โ double-click the task text (or tap the โ icon), type, and press Enter. Escape cancels the edit.
What happens to overdue tasks?+
Their date chip turns red and an overdue counter appears above the progress bar. They stay at their priority position โ the red chip is the nudge to either do them or reschedule.
Will my tasks sync between phone and laptop?+
No โ local storage is per-device and per-browser, which is exactly what keeps it private and account-free. Use the device you study on for the list you check daily.
